Chris Wittemyer A Colorado native, Chris Wittemyer grew up in the hills west of Boulder. Following a four-year departure to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he earned degrees in Accounting and English, Chris returned to Colorado and attended law school at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He practiced law as a water rights and real estate attorney in Denver metro area before moving to Steamboat Springs in 1996, marrying his law school sweetheart Elizabeth, and redirecting his career toward real estate brokerage and development. Chris works to continuously educate and re-educate himself to bring his clients competent and thorough real estate advice. He has experience in land development and farm and ranch transactions, in addition to a strong residential real estate background. Jim Walters im Walters, is a registered professional geologist and earned his BA degrees in Psychology and Geology, and a Masters degree in Geology, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After 10 years consulting in the environmental industry, he shifted his focus to marketing for a NYSE company. Jim brings over 17 years experience in relationship-based sales and marketing and loves working with people and helping them reach their goals. He believes that client-focused services are the foundation of the organization and will always keep that the focus of The Wittemyer Group. Jim and his wife Randa have owned property in the area for over 15 years and permanently relocated to Steamboat Springs in August of 2004.
